The Square Festival

On the Sunday morning over a thousand revellers will join the organisers on the sands to set a new World Record for ‘Mass Skinny Dipping’. Over 500 people have already pledged to take part, with numbers increasing every day.

Festival favourites Supergrass will headline the main stage, with The Holloways, The Beat, Drumsound and Welsh Punk Reggae outfit Skindred giving plenty of support.

The new Naked stage will showcase a host of up and coming artists, including a number of new Welsh acts, while the three other stages will play host to musical styles from all around the globe – from Dance to Gypsy to Folk.

Having expanded to cater for 5,000 people for 2009, The Square Festival will also offer Workshops, a Human Zoo and a Clothes Swap Shop to keep everyone happy. This year the festival also has a cocktail bar and a gentleman’s club to capture the contrast of nightlife in the country.

And to make sure that everyone keeps happy whatever the weather, The Festival’s ‘Fun Police’ will be handing out Gnomes to the party people who look to be enjoying themselves the most, which can be used as currency at the festival site.
