A curatorial intervention by artist Neil McNally into the art collections at Newport Museum and Art Gallery. Neil has invited a group of established and emerging artists to make work reflecting upon his investigations into and response to the collections.

12 international artists have been asked to make newly conceived work for the exhibition, to be shown alongside a selection of work drawn from the Museum’s permanent collection. Artists featured: Axelrad & Press, Marcel Broodthaers, Merlin Carpenter, Richard Dadd, Inez De Coo, Jacob Epstein, Morag Keil, LS Lowry, David Jones, Hannes Michanek, Amy McDonough, Catalina Niculescu, Luke Pomphrey, Auguste Rodin, Phil Root, George Stubbs, Rowland Thomas, JMW Turner, Keith Vaughan, Iori Wallace, Eva Weinmayr and Christopher Wood.
