Ballet

No experience necessary. Learnign the basic skills and principals of classical ballet according to the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus.

Children’s Classes: Crafty Tots

Does your pre-schooler enjoy painting, cutting, sticking, colouring and making things? Crafty Tots is a place where you and your child can be creative in a relaxed environment. All resources are provided by a qualified teacher.

Children’s Classes: Movement for Toddlers

A fun and relaxed class for both parents and toddlers, encouraging imagiantion through creative play and movement.

Adults classes: Community Theatre Group

An opportunity to explore and develop skills in performance in the relaxed community setting of the Gate. No experience necessary, just a willingness to have a go and commitment to the course. Develop your confidence, meet new people, have fun and learn about theatre as we prepare for a piece performance.

Art Space

Weekly workshops looking at skills in drawing, painting, collage, solo and collaborative pieces. This is an opportunity to look at past and present artists and art forms from around the world in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

Argentinian Tango

Tango provides foundation dance skills to help you participate in social dancing. Smooth leather soled shoes required.

Flamenco Dancing

An introductory class in the basic rhythms, footwork and movements of Flamenco dance. (Supportive shoes with a two inch heel required).

The Gate Community Chorus

A mixed chorus class rehearsing and performing a wide range of music from popular to classical. Open to all.
