Join the Cheerful Project for free workshops making beautiful lanterns* to join the River of Lights procession in Haverfordwest on 31st October!

All workshops are free, drop-in, 10am-4pm and suitable for all ages.

Kokeshi Dolls.Kokeshi are Japanese wooden dolls traditionally made for children, often symbolising the wish for a healthy child. They were also exchanged as tokens of friendship , with messages concealed within. Join Melissa Pettitt to make your own version of this typically Japanese doll.

Weaving Project

Weaving Project

Join Bettina Becker and Pam Morgan of the Pembrokeshire Guild of Weavers Spinners and Dyers for this course of four half-day weaving workshops.

Learn how to weave on a rigid heddle loom in a relaxed and creative atmosphere designing,weaving and finishing a project on a loom. No equipment necessary.

The Guild only has 5 looms so please let us know when you book whether you have your own rigid heddle loom. Due to the limited availability of the equipment you can only book by phone or in person, contact the box office on 01834 869323.

Mexican Memory Shrines. Mexican Nicho are said to have originated from the Roman Catholic tradition of painting patron saints on wood or tin. Nicho contain small niches in which to display treaures and artifacts. We''ll be adapting this tradition to make Nicho to celebrate and remember our loved ones.
