The hills and mountains of Snowdonia will be alive once more to the sound of music this August bank holiday weekend as a galaxy of international music stars grace Bryn Terfel’s Faenol Festival stage once more.

This year Irish ’man-band’ Boyzone will be playing on the Friday, Saturday sees the Opera Gala with soprano Diana Damrau and the acclaimed South African tenor Johan Botha. On Sunday you can see John Barrowman, Daniel Boys plus a guest appearance from the winning Nancy of the BBC TV competition I’d Do Anything. The festival closes with Tan y Ddraig, continuing the tradition of young, exciting talent coupled with legends from the Welsh music scene including a headline slot for Maffia Mr Huws
