


Holy Hiatus: temporary public artworks throughout Cardigan, Ceredigion, from May 21st to May 31st. Including a symposium taking place at Cardigan’s Small World Theatre on Saturday 24th May.
Holy Hiatus is a series of temporary public art events taking place in a diverse range of venues across Cardigan over 10 days. Curated by Ruth Jones, with a focus on social ritual and identity, community and public spaces. Artists featured are: Alastair MacLennan, Maura Hazelden, Simon Whitehead, Anna Lucas, Yvonne Buchheim.
The symposium, chaired by Dr Heike Roms, will explore a range of issues raised by the project, and involve presentations and talks with arts professionals and specialists from disciplines such as Sociology, Anthropology and Geography.
