If you would like to learn techniques for painting in pastel then why not book into Carol’s workshop? At the end of the day you will be able to take home and frame your own wildlife masterpiece. Suitable for complete beginners or those with some experience.
10.00am - 3.00pm. Cost £25.00 to include lunch. To book please call 01554 741 087. A £10 deposit will be required to reserve your place. Please make any cheques payable to WWT.
What do I need to bring?
photographs of your chosen animal/bird
soft pastels in a range of colours (for a small fee pastels can be borrowed from Carol on the day)
pastel pencils or charcoal for sketching
drawing board
bulldog clips (to attach paper to drawing board)
pastel paper (although grained surfaces can be used such as sandpaper or textured mount board). Pastel paper can be purchased for 40p a sheet at the workshop.
an easel (to allow you to work verticaly, to permit pastel dust to fall away)
a ruler
a cloth, blue tack or baby wipes for cleaning hands
an apron to protect your clothes
