Although best known as the lovable couch-potato, Jim Royle, in ’The Royle Family’, his off-screen life has been far more interesting. He has been a plasterer, banjo player, comic, union agitator, political activist, award-winning actor and an unwilling guest of Her Majesty’s prison service. Respected for his honesty, wit and integrity, he makes for outstanding value in all roles. Ricky is joined by guests Pauline Daniels (The Comedians), Duncan Norvelle (Chase Me) and Tony Barton (Coronation Street).
