Andy Nowak Trio

Andy Nowak Trio

Drawing on influences ranging from the hard swinging Oscar Peterson trio through the pseudo classical inventions of Brad Mehldau to the atmospheric ideas of E.S.T, the trio play original compositions and interpretations of standards with effervescence and flair. With an emphasis on joy and risk taking, the trio weave a compelling tapestry of soundscapes and lyricism at once fresh and familiar.

The trio is poised to release their 2nd album "Reset" - a work of strikingly fresh melodic and creative sonority, and the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut " Sorrow And The Phoenix"

Span Arts long-running jazz monthly takes place in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere at the wonderful Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth. With real ales, a meal available and great foot-tapping music, this venue is the perfect environment for this exceptional event. This extraordinary evening of glorious jazz is one that is not to be missed.
