16-year-old Juno, a bright teenager with a fine line in sardonic wit, decides itss time to loose her virginity - and immediately gets pregnant. She then faces some tough decisions as she flirts with adulthood and figures out what to do. This sweet yet pointed comedy is without doubt one of the most enjoyable of the year, it never feels forced because, like Juno herself, it never tries too hard. With a great script, full of sharp, funny dialogue, Juno comes across as the ultimate cool-if-slightly-weird chick while her friends and family are all brilliantly drawn characters.
’just about the best movie of the year very smart, very funny and very touching with an uncommonly intelligent screenplay’ - Chicago Sun Times
