Peter Lord discusses his new book from Parthian, which describes, through fifteen picutres, the evolution of his own sense of self; from post-War childhood, art college in the 1960s, through the tension between incomers and local people in Wales in the 1970s and 80s, and finally through his exploration of the place they have had in the lives of the artists who created them.

Poets at the Dylan Thomas Centre with Kathryn Maris

Kathryn Maris, a poet from New York City who now lives in London, has recently released her second collection, God Loves You (Seren, 2013). She has won a Pushcart Prize, and an Academy of American Poets award, and her poems have appeared in several anthologies including Best British Poetry 2012 and the Oxford Poets Anthology. She teaches creative writing at Morley College and the Poetry School. Includes open mic.
