ClayArt features an extensive and exciting variety of new work - from functional pots to sculpture - by over 70 of the UK’s leading potters and ceramic artists all selected for their creativity and quality.
Don’t miss an exciting programme of demonstrations by leading makers, raku and wood kiln firings including Paul Young firing figures in the bottle kiln, the new Nic Collins oil and charcoal kiln and Linda de Nil will be opening new work from Anagama.
Now in its 6th year, ClayArt is now firmly established in the craft pottery calendar, specialising in selling studio pottery and ceramics directly from the makers.
There will be free children’s workshops, where they can make and decorate their own pieces of art and a live band called Moondance will be playing jazz and swing throughout the weekend.
Come and meet the artists, talk and discuss their ideas and working practices, watch potters at the wheel and firing kilns - all exciting stuff guaranteed to get you "fired up" about clay.
