Formed in the cold Chicago winter of 1977, Survivor are a band that have stood the test of time. Survivor’s brand of melodic, hard-edged rock is best captured on the classic albums, Survivor (1979), Premonition (1981) and more recently 2006’s Reach.

The group netted several hits through the eighties, including the infamous Eye of the Tiger from the Rocky Series launching them to the status of such contemporaries Foreigner.

After an assortment of albums throughout the 80s the band was put on hiatus shortly after releasing 1988’s Too Hot to Sleep. After numerous re-formations and split ups during the early nineties an incarnation of the original band found itself back together to record Reach and embark back on the road.

You won’t survive May without seeing Survivor.
