A welcome return for The Pindrop Band, who bring you an evening of "Acoustic Adventures" played at a volume that, as the name suggests, won’t be too hard on your ears…
The power is in the playing, in the singing and the songwriting. This 9 piece Band from Bristol is know for the bewildering number of instruments they play, some of them home made. Expect a “tinklele”, a cross between a ukulele and an olive oil can, tin guitars, as well as Celtic Harp, Lap steel, Accordion, Mandolin and a host of acoustic suprises. Piers Partridge, the Band leader, was originally from the Cardigan area and songs such as “Ceibwr Bay” hark back to a childhood on the West Coast. “If you own an acoustic guitar, you must go and see the Pindrop Band” Time Out Magazine, London
