The world’s number one touring ABBA tribute concert comes to St David’s Hall on Thursday 29th May, with no fewer than 4 Welsh perfomers and musicians in the show.

Abba Mania formed in 1999 and has been selling out theatres and concert halls internationally ever since with Swansea singer Mark Thomas taking the lead as Björn Ulvæus. The band includes some of Wales’s most talented musicians with drummer Ryan Aston from Neath, Bass player Pablo Roberts from Aberdare and Cardiff’s own Luke Bradshaw on guitar.

Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and Anna Frida, collectively known as ABBA, dominated the charts for nearly ten years and enjoyed nine UK number 1s. At their height they became Sweden’s highest export earners, amazingly, outselling Volvo cars. Sadly, in the early eighties, they decided to go their separate ways, but their music lives on.
