Heritage Club for Kids!

A free Saturday heritage club has been set up at Abertillery and District Museum for children between 8 – 11 years of age.

The Museum along with Communities First, Abertillery allows children to escape into the past and learn what life was like for our ancestors.

Children get the chance to dress up in costume, and learn about Roman, Victorians and life in World War II being an evacuee for the day! The youngsters take part in quizzes and games, a fun way to learn about history, and also get a better understand of how a museum is run.

The club will meet next on the following dates:

• 29th March
• 26th April
• 31st May
• 28th June

The club runs between 10am – 12 noon and snacks provided.
