Have you ever been sat in a shabby, unfamiliar room for what seems like forever? Nothing seems to be happening, you don’t want to be there and to make matters worse there is someone horrible sat opposite you…
Described as a comedy of menace The Dumb Waiter is a dark thriller set in a claustrophobic basement where Gus and Ben await their next assignment. Tension mounts as they receive increasingly bizarre instructions from a sinister, unseen presence.
Performed earlier this year by TinShed productions at the Restaurant Theatre in Pembrokeshire College, this is another chance to see Bob Phillips and Lloyd Grayshon (winner of the 2008 Pembrokeshire One Act Play Competition Best Actor Award) in this little known Pinter classic which is supported by a short film of Pinter’s Victoria Station.
An amateur presentation in association with Josef Weinberger Ltd.
