The official launch of Refugee Week in Wales. Celebrating Sanctuary is a free festival featuring music, dance and workshops from refugees. Celebrating Sanctuary brings internationally acclaimed musicians from around the world to Wales.
The highlights of this year’s festival are:

Ethio Traditional Band; Aziz Salam & Karwan of Hawnaz Band; Terza Rima and Manteca. Workshops Yurts on African Dance and Drumming, Carnival Dance (MAS Carnival), Art (Bay Arts) and Storytelling.

Don’t miss ’Moving Stories’ aboard the poetry boat, leaving regularly from the Bay during the afternoon. Also featuring Hair Braiding, Henna Tattooing, Face Painting and a range of Stalls selling traditional crafts and cuisine.
